Comprehensive Psychology Assessment and Report

​

A comprehensive report that can be used to support NDIS reviews which includes the following components:

 

1. Background semi-structured interview: This involves an interview with a psychologist to gather relevant information such as family history, developmental and medical background, diagnoses, education, employment, living situation assessments, activities of daily living, interventions, and social and formal supports.

 

2. Structured Clinical Interview for the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5) as a guide to formulate diagnoses.

 

3. Daily living skills assessment: This is a functional assessment that examines areas including communication, mental state, well-being, mobility, self-care, and self-management.

 

4. World Health Organization Disability Assessment Scale 2.0 (WHODAS 2.0): This is a general measure of disability that can be used across all conditions. It examines domains of cognition, mobility, self-care, getting along with others, life activities, and community participation.

 

The report also includes support recommendations based on the client's needs and goals, ensuring that the recommendations fit NDIS criteria so that appropriate, reasonable, and necessary support can be accessed.

 

Time required for the clinical interview and assessment: 2 hours

Progress Report

​

A progress report is utilized to monitor the progress of therapy and NDIS goals. It is typically completed by the treating psychologist and serves as evidence for NDIS plan reviews. The report includes the following:

 

1. Review of NDIS and therapy goals: This involves assessing the progress made toward or the progress of the individual’s therapy and NDIS plan goals.

 

2. Recommendations for future psychological therapy and NDIS goals.

 

3. Exploration of barriers to goal achievement to facilitate interventions and plan recommendations.

 

4. Support recommendations: Based on the participant’s progress, support recommendations will be provided for the new NDIS plan review.

 

Time: 1-hour assessment

Feedback session

​

You will have the opportunity to review reports with the clinician, ask questions, and gain a deeper understanding of the results and recommendations. This session will last up to 50 minutes with the treating clinician.

 

Fees for psychology session: $214.41

​Psychology Treatment Sessions

​

Psychology treatment (counselling) sessions are 50 minutes in length and focus on achieving the individual goals of the participant. Therapy goals will be discussed with the participant in the first session.

​

Fees for psychology session: $214.41
