Present Tense Psychology is led by Mark Rose – a dedicated psychologist with over a decade of professional experience supporting clients of all ages. Present Tense Psychology is proud to offer online after-hours remote telehealth evidence-based psychological intervention and assessment services that are flexible and accessible, making it easier for all clients to access the care they need in a place that suits them. 

 

Mark is a warm and compassionate psychologist who believes that everyone has the potential to change and grow. Through demonstrating respect, integrity, and confidentiality, Mark creates a safe and supportive space for his clients to explore their core beliefs, thoughts, feelings, and experiences to help them identify and overcome the challenges holding them back. Mark is a registered psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and has strong experience in supporting diverse client groups who are experiencing a variety of problems, including anxiety, depression, stress, grief & loss, trauma, ADHD, and those who are experiencing problems with coping, motivation, and goal setting. 

 

Mark uses a flexible client-centered therapeutic approach that incorporates evidence-based frameworks such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Solutions Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to reduce symptoms, improve coping skills, and enhance self-acceptance. In addition to specific treatment approaches, Mark emphasizes the importance of establishing and maintaining a strong therapeutic alliance by building trust and promoting open communication with all clients.​

 

Present Tense Psychology provides a range of online diagnostic assessments, focusing particularly on ADHD - Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, and adult Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) assessment and diagnosis.
